Job description

Join Uber’s Mobility Customer Experience Analytics team and help turn complex customer and operational signals into decisions that improve growth bets, new product launches, and airport and venue experiences. You’ll own key success measures (North Star metrics), run rigorous deep-dive analyses and experiments, and build practical analytics tools that help non-technical partners move faster with confidence. The team also focuses on improving customer support experience tracking across both traditional workflows and GenAI-powered support channels.

What You’ll Do
  • Own North Star metrics and targets used to measure and drive the Mobility Customer Experience strategy.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses by forming testable hypotheses, designing experiments, and quantifying impact of launches, growth bets, and airport and venue operations using rigorous ROI analysis.
  • Evaluate and shape customer support design, establishing impact tracking across traditional support workflows and GenAI-powered support experiences.
  • Turn ambiguous business questions into data-driven recommendations that identify opportunities to streamline the user-facing support experience and influence product, app, and support policy changes.
  • Build and manage self-service data products including dashboards and reporting frameworks to support non-technical users, business leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business performance and deliver executive-level communications to inform and influence senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Finance to implement recommendations, perform root-cause analyses, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Write complex SQL and use data modeling to transform raw data into stable “single source of truth” architectures.
  • Use Python and LLM-powered coding tools for data transformation, automation, and model development to accelerate actionable insights.
  • Potentially support the team by leading junior analysts and helping standardize and elevate analytical tools, frameworks, and processes.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with a proven ability to write and understand complex queries.
Skills and Tools

Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google Sheets/Excel, Looker, Streamlit, and LLM-powered coding tools.
