Job summary

Hill International in San Diego, CA is seeking a Data Analyst II to act as a liaison among administrative staff, project managers, and team members, orchestrating data flows and ensuring data quality. This role emphasizes ETL processes and data visualization for business stakeholders.

You will perform ETL, develop and visualize reports for stakeholders, manage SharePoint Online permissions, and leverage Power Apps and Power Automate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years relevant experience with data management and visualization.
  • Experience with Document Control standards and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, permissions, and compliance features.
  • Experience in the utilities sector preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between administrative staff, project managers, and team members.
  • Execute ETL processes to assess client datasets and visualize data for stakeholders.
  • Lead reporting and analytics projects independently.
  • Develop test plans to ensure reports and data automation tools function correctly.
  • Provide program and project data visualization support and collaborate with other teams.

Job description

Hill International is seeking a Data Analyst II in San Diego, California

  • Act as a liaison between administrative staff, project managers, and team members.
  • Familiarity with common Stage Gates within utilities or construction management.
  • Have excellent SharePoint online skills including trouble shooting file transfers.
  • SharePoint permissions experience with access and distribution groups.
  • Understand the lifecycle of documents of record.
  • Basic understanding of Power APP and Automate workflows.
  • Executes ETL processes in order to assess client datasets and visualize data in an easily consumable way for business stakeholders.
  • Performs data analysis and compiles technical reports and findings.
  • Understands the client's industry and business, interprets trends, and learns and implements leading practices and metrics.
  • Leads reporting and analytics projects independently.
  • Development of thorough test plans, ensuring proper functioning of reports and data automation tools.
  • Provides program and project data visualization support services and may be a shared resource with other workgroups.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
