Description
Boulder County Assessors Office is seeking to hire a
Data Analyst II. This position under general supervision, acts as technical lead who supports and creates internal dashboards, data reporting and integrations. Works to ensure compatibility and integration with Office/Department and enterprise strategies. Participates in projects than entail complex coordination of resources, logistics, systems analysis, and vendor support. Troubleshoots and resolves problems with data and technical systems. Is responsible for technical support of small Office/Departmental related projects as well as some administrative duties.
This is a
full-time, benefited position that will work
Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm. This position will work
remote and out of
1325 Pearl St. Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is
exempt.
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $75,984.00 - $92,736.00 Annually

Examples of Duties
- Using county standard software develops and maintains dashboards for internal use
- Contributes to the implementation and integration of data between office/Department and other systems
- Constantly assesses database using ad hoc SQL query development, actively searches for inconsistencies and generates clean-up reports to us in quality assurance and quality control activities
- Works closely with software providers, Analyst team and other county offices and Departments ensure the integrity of internal and online data
- Assists in producing all major reports and mailings to meet statutory or other deadlines
- Assists in writing specifications including preparation of written specification for the design, modification, upgrades and testing of applications
- Responsible for documenting data information flows
- Helps to identify methods to streamline technical processes
- Identifies cost-effective changes and creates change specifications to Office/Department information systems and presents proposals to management
- Confers with users to obtain information limitations, capabilities, and needs of existing system and capabilities required for data processing projects and projected workload
- Maintains appropriate records of research methods and results
- Designs specific databases for collections, tracking, and reporting of research data
- May provide a variety of professional, administrative, and/or clerical services to department
- Develops and implements methodology for accessing data from State and vendor systems
- Performs related work, as required
- May be reassigned during emergency situations

- The District Attorney’s Office observe Francis Xavier Cabrini Day on the first Monday in October and omit the Friday after Thanksgiving
- Vacation and Medical leave are based off of full time FTE accruals. Part-time FTE/term employees accrue leave based on the percentage of time they work.
