Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analyst to translate business questions into analytical insights and actionable recommendations. The role emphasizes dashboard development, reporting, and cross-team collaboration.

The candidate will gather requirements, perform ad-hoc analyses, and communicate findings through clear reports and visuals. Minimum 3–4 years in analytics and strong SQL skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Business or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in data analysis or BI.
• Willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with dbt is a plus.
• Proficient in Tableau or similar visualization with dashboard experience.
• Experience in marketing and sales analytics is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Curious and detail-oriented with growth mindset.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to understand data needs and communicate findings clearly

• Prepare and present clear reports and analytical summaries for team and stakeholder review

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills with demonstrated ability to write complex queries independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
• Confident with learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies
• Familiarity with data transformation tools such as dbt (a plus, not required)
• Proficient in Tableau or similar data visualization tools with hands‑on dashboard development experience
• Experience with marketing and sales analytics (media and attribution experience a plus)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow technical and analytical skills over time
