TITLE: DATA ANALYST I - SUPPLY CHAIN

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE DATA ANALYST I - SUPPLY CHAIN

  • Deliver supply chain analytic insights (planning, inventory, capacity, on time delivery, etc.).
  • Support business process re-engineering initiatives to increase productivity, quality and effectiveness of Supply Chain related activities.
  • Identify data sources, develop integrated tools and assist with corporate Supply Chain Build analytic capabilities to grow organizations knowledge.
  • Develop in-depth business, analytical and systems knowledge to improve analytical solutions, approaches and business recommendations.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams (Commercial, R&D, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, IT, Sales).
  • Perform detailed analysis and provide KPIs/metrics to leadership and executive Supply Chain stakeholders as needed.
  • Design, build, and maintain optimization tools to identify global Supply Chain network opportunities and determine optimal distribution sites.
  • Research and extract Supply Chain data from Carpenter systems and create meaningful reporting to identify trends, performance metrics and issues.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • KPIs/metrics analysis methodology.

REQUIRED FOR THE DATA ANALYST I - SUPPLY CHAIN

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Information Systems and Statistics or equivalent subject.
  • Entry level position, 0-2 years of experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL or other structured programming languages (C, Java, etc.).
  • Strong experience in MS Office products - Advance Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • Promotes ways to improve the quality of life and protect the environment in the communities in which the Company does business.
  • Ability to operate a computer workstation, to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions, to solve problems creatively and to utilize and analyze data and follow a process.
  • Ability to work in a production-oriented environment.
