Job summary

Entergy is seeking Analysts at levels I-III to perform diverse data analyses under supervision, documenting sources and ensuring data integrity. Responsibilities include researching project components, identifying inconsistencies, and coordinating with stakeholders to avoid duplication.

Analyst III duties involve defining project scope with senior managers, leading junior analysts on quality control, and overseeing data documentation for reusable analyses across larger initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience.
• Desired: Master's Degree
• Analyst I: 0-2 years professional experience.
• Analyst II: 2-4 years professional experience.
• Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience.
• Office environment with minimal physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Researches assigned portions of a project, documents sources and works with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of department to ensure relevancy.
• Recognizes data inconsistencies and irregularities and reports issues to senior analysts.
• Supports the review of functions and structures of business area to avoid overlap and duplication.
• Documents analyses using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use.
• Performs quality control analysis to ensure accuracy and rationale.
• Works within the scope and framework of larger projects defined by senior analysts.
• Create, manage, verify and process various construction and storm contracts and purchase orders.
• Support networks supply chain and other stakeholders as needed on construction contracts as needed.
• Work with external vendors to address invoice issues, contract questions, supporting docs, etc..
• Assigned larger portions of project work and provided with latitude to define scope and objectives of own analysis. May develop initial policy recommendations
• Provides leadership to junior analysts related to quality control and data consistency
• Reviews functions and structures of business area to avoid overlapping and duplication
• Manages data documentation using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use
• Performs and leads quality control analysis to ensure accuracy and rationale
• Works within the scope and framework of larger projects defined by senior analysts
• Continuation of duties across Analyst I-III with progressive scope.
