The Role

The Data Intelligence team is chartered with advancing data‑driven decision making across Acrisure. As a member of the team, you will lead the requirements gathering, design, implementation and delivery of reporting and analytics capabilities for Finance and Accounting Business Functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of efficient and reliable reporting and analytics capabilities with a customer‑first mindset.
• Advance the transition of users from legacy data sources to future state data enablement and self‑service strategies.
• Create data visualizations that reveal insights and support decision making.
• Identify, adopt, and evangelize best practices and technical standards for data analysis.
• Advocate for and identify creative implementations to optimize business impact.
• Empower others to grow their understanding of data complexity by scaling knowledge sharing within teams.
• Help identify better practices, tools and trends that improve data quality across the organization.
• Design and build BI applications with embedded workflows that automate decision points and enable action directly from data, moving teams beyond passive reporting toward active, data‑driven operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Professional serving finance and accounting functions.
• A passion for building remarkable data products.
• Proven ability to craft storytelling data visualizations with Tableau and PowerBI.
• Strong understanding of data models, structures, theories and best practices.
• Proficiency in gathering stakeholder requirements, translating processes to data, and evaluating KPIs.
• Experience with SQL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, dbt, BigQuery, Git, Palantir and data modeling.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for natural‑language querying and effective prompt engineering.
• Nice to have: exposure to product management and/or building data‑driven applications.
• Experience with agile project execution and tools such as Jira & ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to unpack complex problems to find solutions.
• Strong teamwork, solution‑centric, and customer‑service‑oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Empathy, kindness, self‑awareness and a positive outlook toward others.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
