Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Data Science Consultant in Washington, DC to join the AI & Data team, focusing on data visualization, analytics, and data engineering for Federal government projects.

You will design dashboards, transform data, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable AI/analytics solutions while supporting business development and internal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST.
• Bachelor’s and 1+ year of experience in business analytics, data analysis, data engineering, data visualization or data science OR Master’s in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Analytics or related STEM field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to gather requirements and present to clients with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with dashboard tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments (Databricks, Snowflake, Impala).
• Experience performing analytics and data transformation using SQL, Python, and R.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration.

• Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver AI/analytics use cases; translate business needs into scalable data science solutions.

This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and wrangling to data engineering, to data visualization, dashboarding, and business intelligence (BI), to predictive analytics.
