Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data science consultant to design and develop Power BI dashboards for DHS-related analytics. You will clean data, build dashboards, and deliver insights to support mission-critical decisions.

The role requires 3+ years in data analytics or engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust. Travel up to 10% and collaboration with cross-functional teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years in data analytics, data science, or data engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DHS Public Trust.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for non-technical audiences.
• Experience building dashboards and BI solutions using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide analytics insights using Power BI.
• Lead and review data cleaning scripts and dashboards for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Balance competing priorities while supporting quick turn and ad hoc requests.
• Support business development and internal initiatives alongside client service.

This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and wrangling to data engineering, to data visualization, dashboarding, and business intelligence (BI), to predictive analytics. Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve budget justifications and decision-making. This individual will support organizational and mission goals within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role requires hands on technical expertise and strong communication skills.
