Summary:
The Data Analyst - Correspondent, using a variety of tools, will provide reports, dashboards, data extracts, and/or analysis of output to support organizational objectives and operations. This position requires a high level of coordination with the company’s Finance, IT, Operations, and Sales internal business partners. This position will work closely with all operational areas to facilitate accurate and reliable data insights to the Correspondent business channel and provide exceptional service to clients, Account Executives, and all FMC employees.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and manage data extracts/reports/dashboards, providing insights to Correspondent teams.
- Develop automations to existing business processes to increase efficiency and productivity of the department.
- Enhance relationships with clients by identifying their needs and expectations while providing accurate and timely responses.
- Maintain knowledge of products and services, as well as knowledge of the industry. Keeps abreast of current developments and market trends, to further identify and service the clients' needs.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Tables, Advanced Formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Experience with SQL, VBA, PowerBI required.
- Experience with Power Query M and DAX languages preferred
- Experience with Snowflake preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Very strong organizational, deductive reasoning and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well with all levels of management and in a team environment.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Four (4) year College or University.
- Two (2) years of reporting analyst experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

May require familiarity with the financial/mortgage (or job-specific) industry. Problems require understanding of other job areas. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issue.
