Job Summary

The Strategy Analytics Team is a driver of innovative, data-driven strategic insights within Cardinal Health’s Global Medical Products and Distribution business. As part of the Strategy Team, we combine deep business understanding with advanced analytics to uncover insights that drive impactful decisions and support sustainable solutions. Our work thrives on curiosity, creativity, analytical ability, and collaboration—partnering across the enterprise to design and deliver solutions that challenge assumptions and unlock new insights.

Responsibilities
  • Apply deep analytical and technical expertise to solve complex, ambiguous problems with creativity and precision
  • Develop and refine tools, dashboards, and processes that enable scalable insight generation
  • Deliver insights and solutions that may set new precedents or influence future strategy
  • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and data-driven solutions
  • Drive innovative, data-driven strategic insights for Cardinal Health’s Global Medical Products and Distribution business.
  • Combine deep business understanding with advanced analytics to uncover insights that inform impactful decisions and support sustainable solutions.
  • Leverage curiosity, creativity, and strong analytical abilities to challenge assumptions and unlock new insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across the enterprise to design and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Contribute to a team culture that values curiosity, creativity, and analytical rigor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Advanced degree is desired
  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of business systems and processes across marketing, customer research, and analytics
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI
  • Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python), relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Google Cloud), and emerging technologies like LLMs is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with a natural curiosity to explore and learn continuously
  • Exceptional communication skills— Strong grasp of visual design principles with ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for varied audiences
  • Proven ability to synthesize data from diverse, disconnected sources to uncover novel business insights
  • Travel Expectations: ~10%

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $115,500
