State of Colorado's Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks a Data Analyst for the Data Innovation, Technology and Security division. The role focuses on building and maintaining CDHS data using multiple sources, maintaining data accuracy, and generating metrics to identify trends and inform HR leadership.
Responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, and development of data management processes, with a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 2 days in the office).

Operations & Strategy provides management and oversight for key administrative and technical services that enables CDHS to achieve their goals. It is responsible for a number of support functions to make our agency as efficient, effective and impactful as possible. Operations & Strategy comprises Human Resources; Facilities Management; Audit; Business Innovation; Technology and Security; Emergency Management; Legal; Performance Management; Communications; Project Management; and Leadership & Organizational Development.
Business Innovation, Technology, and Security (BITS) is responsible for managing the Department’s information technology (IT) providers, including relations with the Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT). The division serves as the main point of contact for departmental issues involving technology resources and needs and coordinates activities with the program staff for IT support, operations, maintenance, modernization and implementation of new IT systems.

This position will build and maintain CDHS Data using extracted data from various computer programs; to maintain the database and ensure data accuracy; run reports as needed for CDHS; analyze CDHS data to generate metrics to identify trends, patterns, and correlations; to make recommendations and/or propose solutions to improve metrics; and present data to non-technical individuals in a clear, concise manner.
Six (6) years of relevant experience in Data Analysis or other occupation related to the work assigned to this position
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in Data Analysis or occupation related to the work assigned equal to six (6) years.
Employment history is calculated on a full‑time basis (40/hrs per week). Part‑time employment is calculated on a prorated basis to determine qualifications.
