Job summary

Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to support the GSA project and perform data analysis, reporting, and automation across teams.

You will develop data pipelines, write SQL and Python code, use Google Apps Script, Tableau, and Google Data Studio, and ensure accessibility and documentation.

This role emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and delivering measurable insights to clients.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
• 3+ years' experience with two or more of the following data processing, analysis, and visualization tools: VBA, SQL, Python, Java, GIS, Tableau, BigQuery, and Google Data Studio.
• 3+ years working to improve operational and reporting data processes and infrastructure.
• 3+ years' experience with data manipulation, management, and reporting.
• Coding skills in languages such as SQL and Python.
• Advanced Google Workspace/Sheets/Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured data sets; develop derived metrics.
• Develop and/or manage Google Apps Scripts for dashboards and reports.
• Consult, develop, and build base requirements for automated reporting tools.
• Establish data pipelines; develop best practices for data pipelines in collaboration with the business line.
• Migrate all READ Reports to Google to maintain and improve reporting.
• Create data collection and analysis tools using R, Python, SQL, Scala, Java; develop READ web applications.
• Consult and build requirements for leasing reports and workload models; automate communications.
• Translate Oracle SQL scripts with UNIX commands to Oracle BI Publisher.
• Use Google Apps Script to write JavaScript ES6 scripts with approved tools.
• Automate manual processes using GSA-approved tools, apps, reports, and platforms.
• Leverage SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, Google Scripts, and Google Data Studio for data pulls and transformations.
• Write HTML/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery) to create Google web services and apps.
• Check accuracy of calculations, PV analysis, and cash flows.
• Ensure Section 508 compliance where required.
• Document code for future migration.
