We are seeking an experienced and resourceful data expert to serve as our first Data Analyst and Visualization Manager. This is a full time, in-person position based in our Madison, Wis. office. We offer a flexible hybrid environment.
From the water we drink to the air we breathe, we know our health is tied to the quality of our environment. Clean Wisconsin’s new Environmental Health Initiative uses scientific analysis to understand how pollution affects families and communities across Wisconsin. This initiative will drive better policies and solutions that protect every Wisconsinite, no matter where they live.
Our Data Analyst and Visualization Manager will be at the center of these exciting efforts. You will analyze data sets to support our evidence-based advocacy approach and create data visualization tools like graphs, charts, maps, infographics, and GIS mapping. Your work will help us present critical data in an accessible way to tell the story of pollution, climate change and public health in Wisconsin.
We anticipate that about 50% of this position will be devoted to supporting Clean Wisconsin’s science department as it analyzes and translates data to be shared with affected communities. The other 50% will be spent creating materials to support advocacy goals at the local, state and federal levels and creating content for our website, social media, and other communications. Our Data Analyst and Visualization Manager will report to the science program director.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $70, 000 and $ 85 ,000 , but some negotiation may be possible b ased on demonstrated skill and experience .
