  • Analyze recurring system processes to ensure that they are operating properly and not misstating financial transactions, such as the monthly receipt accounting accrual and year-end carryforward process of remaining balances of Purchase Orders.
  • Analyze transaction attributes to ensure the general ledger system is accounting for the transactions in the correct period and/or fiscal year.
  • Create job aids and conduct training to teach others how the financial system works.
  • Help troubleshoot issues in the financial system reported by customers, determine what is occurring, and how to fix it.
  • Analyze encumbrances to ensure encumbrances are accurately presented and process correcting entries as needed in the financial system.
  • Assist with testing new financial reports in the financial system, providing detailed feedback, and working with the Financial Systems team to finalize the report.

Minimum Requirements

Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud’s Financial System is preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite products, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; Microsoft 365 products, such as, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams; and other applications.

  • Employees may be asked to come on site more frequently as needs arise and at any time.
  • We try to give advanced notice when needs change but are not always able to.
