Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide expert data quality and review services, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of UHC's healthcare data warehouse, reports, and analytical solutions.
2. Develop and execute end-to-end data quality testing, including test scenarios and strategies.
3. Architect and implement scalable automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
4. Analyze test results, focusing on business impact, and recommend solutions for critical issues.
5. Identify data anomalies and defects proactively, performing root cause analysis to enhance data quality.
6. Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements and navigate complex datasets to define data relationships and lineage.
7. Conduct data quality audits to ensure compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
8. Design and develop automated testing frameworks adhering to enterprise standards and best practices.
9. Communicate technical data quality findings clearly to diverse audiences, including leadership.
10. Translate complex data quality concepts into understandable insights.
11. Mentor and guide junior analysts to promote knowledge sharing and growth.

Required Qualifications

1. 3+ years of experience in data analysis, quality assurance, or reporting.
2. Intermediate or advanced SQL skills (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, ANSI SQL).
3. Experience with data movement processes and ETL development lifecycle.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Snowflake testing experience.
6. Proficiency with Python, CI/CD tools, Git, especially in cloud environments.
7. Statistical analysis experience.
8. Experience with Snowflake or Azure cloud data warehouses.
9. Experience designing and executing automated data validation tests.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in healthcare data (claims, clinical, outreach).
2. Knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
3. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
4. Understanding of data science concepts.
5. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
6. Strong team orientation, communication, and proactivity.
7. Adherence to remote work policies.

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually, based on full-time employment and various factors such as location, experience, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility.
