Akkodis is seeking a data analytics professional to join a combined IT BI development and data science team supporting the FBI. The role focuses on creating analytics solutions, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and reducing manual data processing through automation in the Power Platform stack.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Creates insightful BI analyses and visualizations for FBI senior leadership and IT owners.
• Builds and maintains dashboards, apps, and automations in Power Platform, SharePoint, and InfoPath environments.
• Performs ETL, data modeling, SQL scripting, and data warehousing tasks.
• Develops predictive risk models and supports data-driven AI initiatives for the FBI BI capabilities.
• Leads data calls, data normalization, cleansing, and visualization efforts.

Job description

The data analyst develops data analytics solutions as part of a combined IT Business Intelligence development and data science team working to integrate and modernize the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s business intelligence reporting capabilities. This role will support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of products, primarily in the Power Platform suite, that facilitate comprehensive end-to-end data collection, transform raw data into actionable business insights through statistical analysis, KPI development, PowerBI dashboarding, and proven machine learning methods, and reduce or eliminate manual effort in data processing by automating common processes.

Responsibilities:

• Creates insightful and impactful business intelligence analysis and visualizations to be consumed by FBI senior management, IT system owners, and Division and Field Office leaders.
• Builds, maintains, and improves dashboards, applications, and automations within the Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, and PowerApps), SharePoint, and InfoPath environments to reduce or eliminate manual effort in data processing by automating common processes.
• Analysis, query, aggregation, visualization, extract/transform/load, complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
• Connects to and leverages application programming interfaces (APIs), system-to-system connections, and manual transfer of data as part of business intelligence extract, transforms, and load (ETL).
• Builds predictive risk models backed by statistical analysis and support data-driven solutions.
• Develops and carry out full-service data calls, including creation of collection applications and forms, data normalization, data cleansing, and visualization.
• Support proposal, design, implementation, and use of AI solutions to advance FBI’s business intelligence capabilities.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance

Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
