About The Role

Data Ideology is seeking a Data Analyst (Contract to Hire) to join its growing team. The Data Analyst will contribute to a data warehouse consolidation and business intelligence implementation project, working closely with both business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess both analytical and technical skills to translate business objectives into data-driven insights, ensuring data quality, integration, and alignment with organizational goals.

This is a remote position with standard weekday hours based on client needs.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct detailed data analysis using the data warehouse to uncover trends and insights
2. Interpret complex datasets and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
3. Support ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
4. Collaborate with IT teams to implement seamless data integrations
5. Validate and test data to ensure high-quality deliverables
6. Identify and analyze root causes of data issues, providing sustainable solutions
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks and align on goals
8. Document data mappings, definitions, and standard processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, or a related field preferred (not required)
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, R, or Python
• 2+ years of experience working with data analytics on platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Snowflake
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe methodologies is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
