Full Circle Health Network is an integrated network of nonprofit, nationally accredited providers delivering coordinated, community-based services to vulnerable children, individuals and families across California.
Full Circle exists to ensure more Californians can access culturally congruent and trauma-informed care from a high-quality network of community-based organizations that address their whole-person and whole-family needs.
We accomplish this primarily through the following core activities:
- Serve as a single contracting vehicle for community-based providers to enroll in Medi-Cal managed care plan networks.
- Reduce administrative burden for providers so they can focus on serving clients.
- Drive improved coordination between providers across multiple systems through technology infrastructure, training, and administrative practice support.

Position Overview
Position Overview: Data Analyst
The Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting the reporting and analytic needs of Full Circle Health Network. This position is focused on designing and delivering data-driven insights that help inform decision-makers across clinical, operational, and financial areas. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare data (e.g., member, claims, clinical, and provider data), intermediate SQL skills, and experience working with business stakeholders to create reports, dashboards, and fulfill ad-hoc data requests. This is a full time remote position, and will report into the VP of Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards that support healthcare operations and performance monitoring.
- Utilize SQL Server to query, extract, and manipulate healthcare data from multiple complex sources.
- Translate business questions into actionable data analysis and visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to gather requirements, define metrics, and ensure data accuracy.
- Perform drill-down and root cause analysis on data discrepancies.
- Ensure data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data quality.
- Work both independently and collaboratively to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Present findings and insights in a clear, concise, and meaningful way tailored to the audience, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Document data definitions, report logic, and methodologies to support transparency and reproducibility.
- Meet with health plans and providers to communicate and troubleshoot any reporting issues.
Essential Functions
- Execute complex data extraction using intermediate SQL skills.
- Build and maintain scalable, repeatable reporting solutions.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from business leaders and provide quick-turn around insights when needed.
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data availability, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and data governance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science).
- 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in SQL (including writing joins, CTEs, aggregations, and intermediate query optimization).
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and explain complex data to non-technical users.
