About The Role

Maximus is currently seeking a Data Analyst to support our Federal No Surprises Act (NSA) team. This fully remote role involves analyzing complex data sets, developing reporting solutions, and providing insights to guide business decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple departments, manage ad hoc data requests, and deliver high-quality reports aligned with business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis, consolidation, and reporting to support key business operations
• Design and deliver database reports based on user requirements
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using tools such as SQL and Excel
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations (Excel or other BI tools)
• Create user documentation and provide training for reports and dashboards
• Maintain accurate records of candidate activities and deliverables
• Regularly generate performance, productivity, and finance reports
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management and support data-driven decision making
• Ensure accuracy and quality of reporting deliverables
• Work independently and collaboratively across departments
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and visualization
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and Data Loader
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data extracts
• Skilled in documentation and training materials
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong self-motivation and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
• Completion of a background check and identity verification process within 90 days of onboarding
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with the Federal NSA Independent Dispute Resolution process
• Experience with SQL, SAS, or IBM Cognos Analytics
• Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (e.g., Automation Anywhere)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word mail merge
• Experience with Genesys Call Center Software
