Job summary

UNIVERSAL Technologies in New York City is seeking a Data Analyst for an onsite role. The ideal candidate will transform raw data using SQL and Python to develop dashboards and reports used by management to inform decisions.

You will work with large datasets, build visualizations in Power BI or Tableau, and collaborate with teams to translate business needs into actionable data.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of data analyst experience.
• Experience collecting, cleaning, manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
• Strong analytical skills including data cleaning, analysis and visualization.
• Experience creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
• Experience developing reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Familiarity with data warehouses, ETL tools, and/or other data storage solutions.
• Understanding of business processes and translating end user needs into actionable data.
• Ability to conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with Python and/or SQL.
• Certifications preferred but acceptable as experience-based knowledge.

MANDATORY SKILLS EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 3 years of functional or data analyst experience


• Experience collecting cleaning manipulating and analyzing large datasets


• Strong analytical skills including data cleaning analysis and visualization


• Experience creating and maintaining reports dashboards and ad hoc analyses
