Job summary

NationMind LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team for a 6-12 month engagement. The role can be performed remotely from the US or from Houston, TX, with strong emphasis on data analytics, BI reporting, and executive dashboards.

You will leverage SQL to analyze large datasets, build KPI dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Looker, and partner with data engineers to validate data quality. Experience translating data into actionable business insights for leadership is essential.

Qualifications

Role Description: Data Analyst

Strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence, dashboarding, and executive reporting.

• Advanced SQL skills for querying, joining, validating, and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot, Superset, or similar platforms.
• Strong ability to define and visualize KPIs, trends, cohorts, funnels, leaderboards, and drill-down views.
• Experience analyzing user behavior, adoption, product usage, SaaS usage, or platform consumption data.
• Ability to interpret data and create clear business narratives for leadership and operational teams.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for ad hoc analysis, validation, and stakeholder reporting.
• Comfortable working with data engineers to validate datasets, metric logic, and dashboard performance.
