A data solutions company in California is seeking a skilled data analyst with strong data analysis and modeling skills. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience with Oracle Database. Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica and reporting tools such as Cognos is preferred. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications

Job description

• Strong data analysis and data profiling skills
• Strong Conceptual, Logical and Physical data modeling for VLDB Data warehouse
• Hands on experience with modeling tool such as ERWIN or another industry standard tool
• Exposure to ETL tool Informatica or other industry leading tools
• Exposure to Cognos Reporting tool or other industry leading tools
• Fluent in both normalized and dimensional model disciplines and techniques
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Oracle Database (11g or above).
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or information systems (or equivalent experience)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of multiple application areas
• Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented
• Ability to follow and inform priorities and timelines
• Ability to work independently and in conjunction with a team
• Understanding of industry best practices pertaining to Quality Assurance concepts and procedures
