Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst for a government client to support a large-scale initiative to migrate hundreds of Tableau workbooks to Power BI within a Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment. This hands-on role focuses on dashboard development, report migration, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring successful adoption of Power BI.

The ideal candidate will work with both technical and non-technical users and manage report conversion efforts while partnering with the Power BI

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Power BI experience with dashboard/report development.
• Experience with Tableau and migrating workbooks to Power BI.
• Professional migration experience managing multiple report migrations concurrently.
• Strong data visualization, reporting, and dashboard development skills.
• Experience translating requirements into reporting solutions for business users.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst for one of our government customers to support a large-scale enterprise initiative to migrate hundreds of existing Tableau workbooks to Power BI. This is a hands-on role focused on dashboard development, report migration, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring successful adoption of Power BI within a Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical users and capable of independently managing report conversion efforts while partnering closely with the Power BI administration and support team.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5+ years of Power BI experience; proven experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI

• Professional experience with Tableau; ability to analyze and transition Tableau workbooks into Power BI

• Prior professional migration experience; experience managing multiple report migration and development efforts simultaneously

• Strong data visualization, reporting, and dashboard development skills

• Experience converting or recreating reporting solutions from existing business requirements and visualizations

• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather and validate reporting requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a hands-on, execution-focused environment - Previous hands-on experience with Tableau development and administration (highly preferred)

• Experience migrating reporting environments from Tableau to Power BI

• Experience working within Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC) environments (highly preferred)

• Familiarity with the limitations and differences between Power BI GCC and commercial Power BI offerings

• Experience with ArcGIS for mapping and geospatial reporting (highly preferred)

• Experience working with shape files and GIS-based visualizations

• Exposure to AWS-hosted data sources

• Experience connecting to and working with a variety of data sources, including: AWS,network drive, flat files/CSV files and, enterprise databases

• Experience supporting large-scale reporting modernization initiatives

• Public sector or government experience

• Knowledge of Power BI governance, security, and deployment best practices

• Experience working in healthcare, public health, or highly regulated environments
