Job summary

Acestack is hiring a Data Analyst to join a data governance and AI-enabled analytics initiative in a Phoenix-based, onsite capacity. You will analyze large financial data sets, ensure data quality, lineage, and governance while supporting AI-enabled solutions with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, product managers, and data stewards, delivering dashboards, KPIs, and analytical models on cloud platforms and contributing to regulatory compliance and data

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis and governance within regulated environments.
• Strong SQL, data visualization, and cloud data platform knowledge.
• Familiarity with metadata management and data lineage concepts.
• Experience with AI/ML fundamentals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large financial datasets to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Support data management initiatives, including data quality, lineage, metadata, and master data management.
• Contribute to governance Frameworks, policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and governance across enterprise platforms.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical models for business needs.
• Participate in cloud-based data platform initiatives including data migration, integration, and automation.
• Support AI/ML initiatives by preparing and governing datasets for model development and deployment.
• Gain hands-on experience with AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI) and assist in AI feature testing.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve data and AI solution performance and compliance in production.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Document data governance processes, dictionaries, and business rules for transparency.

The Role

As a Data Analyst / Data Management & Governance Professional with Emerging AI Experience, you will play a key role in analyzing, managing, and governing financial data while supporting the development and implementation of AI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, data stewards, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable, and compliant data assets that drive business decisions and customer-facing solutions.

This role provides opportunities to deepen your expertise in data analytics, data management, data governance, reporting, regulatory compliance, and cloud-based data platforms, while gaining hands-on exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI technologies. Working within a highly regulated financial environment, you will contribute to building scalable data solutions and support AI initiatives under the guidance of experienced engineers and data leaders.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret large financial datasets to generate actionable insights, support decision-making, and improve business outcomes.

Support data management initiatives, including data quality, data lineage, metadata management, master data management, and data lifecycle processes.

Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and governance across enterprise data platforms.

Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting solutions, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical models to support business and operational needs.

Participate in cloud-based data platform initiatives, including data migration, integration, automation, and process optimization activities.

Support AI and machine learning initiatives by preparing, validating, and governing datasets used for model development and deployment.

Gain hands-on experience with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI solutions, while assisting in the development and testing of AI-

powered features and workflows.

Contribute to monitoring, evaluating, and improving data and AI solution performance, reliability, and compliance in production environments.

Work closely with product managers, engineers, data stewards, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.

Support the documentation of data governance processes, data dictionaries, business rules, and operational procedures to ensure transparency and compliance.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on data quality, governance maturity, automation, and AI adoption across the organization.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Reporting, and Regulatory Compliance.

Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.), and cloud-based data platforms.

Understanding of data governance concepts, including metadata management, data lineage, data stewardship, and data controls.

Exposure to cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.

Beginner-level knowledge or hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or Agentic AI concepts.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
