Job summary

DRUM Associates is partnering with a fast-growing HR tech SaaS company in New York to reinforce its Data & Analytics team. You will help turn data into decisions by building scalable models, pipelines, and dashboards while ensuring high data quality.

You will collaborate with Product, Finance, People, and Revenue stakeholders and bring an AI-native approach to analysis. Strong SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and BI tooling are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, BI, data governance, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills; hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tooling: dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or equivalents.
• Experience with a modern BI platform (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Partner with stakeholders across Product, Finance, People, and Revenue to define data and analytics needs

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, data science, data governance, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills; hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
• Familiarity with modern data stack tooling: dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or equivalents
• Experience with a modern BI platform (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a bias toward pragmatic, iterative delivery
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and a genuine interest in AI-native ways of working
• Experience with data cataloging/governance tools (e.g., Atlan, Alation, Collibra) is a plus for governance-adjacent roles
