Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Data Analyst in Philadelphia to transform how newsroom, product, marketing, and advertising teams leverage data to grow digital subscriptions and audience engagement.

You will use SQL, statistical analysis, audience segmentation, and AI-enabled analytics to uncover conversion, retention, churn, and lifetime value opportunities. Hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product analytics or similar role.
• Advanced SQL for large datasets.
• Python or R for statistics and data manipulation.
• Experience with BigQuery and dbt data models.
• Ability to analyze engagement, conversion, retention, churn and LTV.
• Experience with logistic regression, survival analysis, clustering and propensity modeling.
• Experience with digital behavioral data and event-based analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis to transform how newsroom, product, marketing, and advertising use data to boost subscriptions and engagement.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role
• Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large datasets
• Experience using Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation
• Experience working with BigQuery and dbt-based data models
• Ability to analyze user engagement, conversion, retention, churn risk, and lifetime value
• Experience applying statistical techniques such as logistic regression, survival analysis, clustering, and propensity modeling
• Experience with digital behavioral data and event-based analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Adobe Analytics

Compensation:

$90,000-$110,000

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
