Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is hiring an entry-level Data Analyst to support the Infrastructure Engineers Document Controls team in Omaha, NE (onsite). You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and automated workflows using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Azure.

You will ingest, transform, and load data into Azure SQL and other cloud platforms, integrating data from APIs and external sources while maintaining accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • BS degree required.
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to work across diverse teams and deliver results under deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/spoken communication skills.
  • Knowledge of APIs and data integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with Azure and Snowflake environments.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

Kiewit Corporation is hiring an entry-level Data Analyst to support the Infrastructure Engineers Document Controls team. Based in Omaha, NE (onsite), this role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and automated workflows using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Azure.

Role overview

You will build and improve end-to-end data processing pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data into Azure SQL and other cloud platforms. The work also includes integrating data from APIs and external sources, monitoring automated workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • BS degree required.
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams, integrating across groups and work streams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under deadlines.

  • SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data lineage concepts.
  • Knowledge of data modeling using Power BI.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based repositories for version control (preferred).
