Job summary

Indotronix Avani Group is seeking a Transmission Project Data Analyst in New Albany, OH, for a 12+ month contract-to-hire engagement. The role involves ensuring data accuracy across Transmission Project Management systems and delivering analytics to support Quality Planning, Assurance, and Control.

You will assist senior staff with data mining, auditing, reconciliation, and visualization, producing actionable insights while maintaining data integrity and alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain or related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with analytics and statistical software (Python, Excel, Tableau, SAS, SPSS).
• Familiarity with PMBOK methodologies and EcoSys/P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within Transmission Project Management Systems.
• Provide data analytics to assure QA/QC across projects.
• Perform data mining, auditing, aggregation, validation, reconciliation, and visualization.

Job Title: Transmission Project Data Analyst

Location: New Albany, OH

Duration: 12+ Months Contract to hire

M-F 40 hours, NO OT

No Travel

Job Summary:

• Assure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within the Transmission Project Management Systems. Assist in and provide data analytics expertise to assure execution of Quality Planning, Quality Assurance and Quality Control within client Transmission Project Management.
• Assist senior staff and perform more basic data analysis on projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, performs analysis, interprets results, and develops actionable insights and recommendations for use across client Transmission Project Management.
• This includes data mining, data auditing, aggregation, validation, reconciliation, and visualization.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

• Assist with and provide framework for enforcing data integrity rules during data entry.
• Provide data variance reports to determine anomalies.
• Working with IT Support, assist in and provide framework for updating data for data correction activities.
• Assist in and monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system.
• Develop and review with senior staff recommendations and implement improvements when required.
• Identify quality improvement measures and work with management to implement.
• Work with project teams to put structure in place to monitor quality of process, documentation, scope adherence, etc., and to control influences that seek to change it.
• Perform audits to determine if project activities comply with organizational and project specific policies, process, and procedures.
• Monitor macro and micro performance metrics to measure process/productivity improvement effectiveness.
• Provide an objective view to ensure the metrics are driving correct behavior across the broader organization.
• Collaborate with schedule and cost governance lead within the QA/QC department to ensure that cost and schedule processes are aligned.
• Become familiar with and provide status reports to Project Support Manager.
• Assist in facilitating the cultural desire within the organization to share and adopt best practices across Client Transmission.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be knowledgeable in data analytic techniques and the demonstrated ability to apply these techniques.
• Effective and compelling communication, including the use of effective listening, with all stakeholders including team members, sponsors, management, and senior management.
• Expertise with database concepts and practices.
• Ability to apply strong analytical and complex problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Provide reports and other information to the Regional Project Management Directors so that corrective measures can be put in place.
• Provide training support as needed for Project Management as well as other departments impacted by EcoSys & P6 to ensure data integrity.
• Identify quality improvement measures and work with management to implement.
• Extrovert personality to own data, analyze and summarize data, and make recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain , or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with a working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such Python, Excel, Tableau, SAS, SPSS and others to perform analysis and interpret data is attained.
• Clear understanding of typical Project Control methods and procedures consistent with Project Management Institute's Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies preferred.
• Experience with EcoSys/P6 preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or AACE certification preferred American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification strongly preferred.
• May consider Trans Project Data Analyst Sr for ideal candidate.
