Spot Pet Insurance is seeking a Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance. You will support recurring and ad hoc analyses, and partner with management to develop data-driven strategies.

You will design dashboards and experiments, gather stakeholder requirements, and build reporting frameworks to improve decision-making. A collaborative, hands-on environment that values data storytelling and privacy compliance awaits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years working as a data analyst, business analyst, or data engineer.
• Strong experience using SQL to turn datasets into metrics.
• Experience with the ELT pattern.
• Experience in managing databases, including relational database architecture, query optimization, and database schema design.
• Empathy and creativity to understand and solve stakeholders' problems.
• Passion for data origins, integrity, accuracy, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is passionate about data, highly analytical, and eager to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance. This role will support both recurring and ad hoc analysis across the business, helping teams make faster, smarter decisions.
