Job summary

ITnova is seeking a Data Analyst to support data management, reporting, analysis, and performance tracking for professional services programs. The Data Analyst will examine, clean, organize, validate, and analyze data to measure operational, procurement, and project performance; identify trends and issues; and develop reports and tools that support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering, public administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, database management, or a related function.
• Experience developing and implementing tracking systems that are user-friendly and capable of integrating with other applications, including Microsoft Office tools, for reporting and presentation purposes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using reporting or visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Ability to examine, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to prepare clear reports, technical documentation, training materials, and presentations.

The Data Analyst will examine, clean, organize, validate, and analyze data to measure operational, procurement, and project performance; identify trends and issues; and develop reports and tools that support informed decision-making. This position will assist with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of tracking systems, dashboards, reports, and other data management tools using applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and related database and reporting platforms.

This position will work with stakeholders across departments to collect and validate information, identify and resolve data integrity issues, transform large and complex datasets into meaningful insights, and develop clear and user-friendly reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering, public administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, database management, or a related function.

• Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, and recurring reports for operational or executive review.
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience preparing and presenting reports, findings, or recommendations to senior leadership.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Lists, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, or other tools used to collect and manage operational data.
• This position is Hybrid in Jersey City, NJ
• Must be a US Citizen
