Job summary

CFS in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Data Analyst to enter, validate, and reconcile transactional and inventory data. You will support month-end reporting and analyze data to improve accuracy and operational insights.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, 3+ years in relevant data/analytics tasks, and strong Excel skills. Onsite work in West Michigan with eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, accounting support, inventory administration, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including filtering and sorting data, Find and Replace, working with multiple file formats, and basic formulas and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain transaction, inventory, and operational records with a high level of accuracy.
• Process purchase, transfer, shipment, and inventory-related data.
• Reconcile monthly records and expenses, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end reporting activities through data validation and analysis.
• Review large data sets to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Investigate variances and work independently to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Generate and maintain reports for operational tracking and business planning.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding data discrepancies, reporting needs, and process improvements.
• Maintain organized documentation and support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
