Job description

Maximus is currently hiring for a Data Analyst to join our Fed NSA team. This is a remote opportunity. The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex data to help solve business problems and provide detailed business insights to management. They will design reports based on the requestor’s requirements in support of key business strategies and be responsible for defining data requirements, gathering and validating data, applying judgment, and highlighting areas of note to management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Database administration, data consolidation, analysis, and management reporting.
• Designing database reports based on requestor requirements.
• Performing queries, data extraction, manipulation, and analysis for reporting solutions.
• Monitoring customer usage, upgrades, reporting tools, and query security.
• Creating user guides and training users on database reports.
• Experience with Salesforce, developing reports, dashboards, and Data Loader.
• Defining data requirements, validating data, analyzing, and presenting outputs.
• Developing reports, dashboards, and data extracts in operational settings.
• Proficient use of MS Excel for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data.
• Developing visualization objects in Excel or other BI tools.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and coordinate across departments.
• Independently motivated, proactive, and team-oriented work ethic.
• Ensuring report accuracy and quality before delivery.
• Generating routine reports and responding to ad hoc requests.
• Completing other duties as assigned.
• Undergoing extensive background and identity checks within 90 days of onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Availability to work between 8:00am-5:00pm EST, Monday to Friday.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with the Federal No-Surprises Act (NSA) IDR process.
• Experience with SQL queries or SAS, IBM Cognos Analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word mail merge, Automation Anywhere, RPA, and virtual desktops.
• Experience with Genesys Call Center Software.

Home Office Requirements:

• Internet speed of 20 Mbps or higher, 50 Mbps for shared connections.
• Minimum 5 Mbps upload speed.
• Connectivity via Wi-Fi or Ethernet to the home router.
• Private work area and reliable power source.
• Residency in the Continental US.

Pay Transparency:

Salary ranges from $58,400 to $63,500 annually, based on various factors including experience, education, and market conditions. Maximus offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, and more. Salary history is not considered in compensation decisions.
