Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is a nationally recognized Am Law 200 law firm with over 500 attorneys servicing clients in 40 offices and 22 states seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Atlanta office. The Data Analyst is responsible for building, maintaining, and improving firmwide reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities. This role focuses on transforming manual and fragmented reporting processes into accurate, scalable, and automated reporting solutions that support Finance, Operations, and firm leadership.
The Data Analyst will work across departments to gather requirements, build structured datasets, and deliver dashboards and analysis that provide clear visibility into firm performance. The legal environment is fast-paced and deadline driven, so strong organization, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities is essential.
Ideal candidates are highly proficient in SQL, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, a systems mindset, and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

This role is primarily focused on SQL-based reporting, reporting automation, data accuracy, stakeholder support, and process improvement, with responsibility for translating business reporting needs into reliable dashboards, reusable datasets, and actionable insights.
