Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Engineer II in Magnolia, Texas to perform data analysis and testing coordination across engineering disciplines. This on-site role blends design analysis, data generation, and client-facing reporting with a hybrid work schedule.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience, with preference for FE/PE pursuit and strong skills in SolidWorks, Abaqus, VBA, and Python. Excellent communication and multi-project management abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Actively pursuing FE and PE is preferred, minimum education is Bachelors
• Strong technical knowledge in applicable field Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering
• SolidWorks and Abaqus experience
• Familiarity with VBA and python scripts
• Strong report writing skills
• Experience facilitating coordination with manufacturers, inspectors, and fabricators
• Must be able to balance multiple projects at once
• Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates
• Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
• Faciltate coordination with manufacturers, inspectors, and fabricators
• Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
• Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc.
• Other work duties as assigned.
