Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Program Manager to drive successful delivery of complex Data and AI initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, translate roadmaps into actionable bills, and manage risks, timelines, and communications with senior stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in program management, plus strong knowledge of lifecycle processes and enterprise delivery. Hybrid work in Illinois with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program or project management, including large-scale technology delivery.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and cross-functional program coordination.
• Proven success managing complex enterprise programs involving multiple stakeholder groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and team documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution and delivery of Data and AI initiatives across business and technology teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
• Partner with Product Management teams to translate roadmaps into executable work plans.
• Coordinate task planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and status reporting across multiple teams.
• Manage project scopes, timelines, dependencies, and delivery risks to ensure timely rollouts.
• Facilitate regular program updates, steering meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Establish and maintain delivery practices, including documentation standards and retrospectives.
• Ensure internal resources reflect Data and AI team value proposition and strategy.
• Publish and maintain high-quality internal documentation and communications with IT and knowledge teams.
• Promote collaboration and transparency within the Data and AI program.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
