Job summary

Molex is seeking a Data & AI Solutions Engineer to design and implement data pipelines within the Enterprise Data Platform. You will optimize workflows, ensure data quality, and enable data-driven decisions across the company.

You will collaborate with business partners, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions, maintain data warehouses, and advance our AI-enabled analytics initiatives. This role is based in the United States and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Understanding of data integration concepts and tools like AWS Glue and Lambda.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git).
• Experience using Agile project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners and data scientists to align data engineering with goals.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS Glue, and Lambda.
• Design and implement data modeling and ETL/ELT processes for quality and availability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to ensure uninterrupted data flow.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
• Manage data warehouses and ensure data security and compliance.
• Perform data transformations, aggregations, and cleansing for analytics.
• Implement data integration strategies for streaming and batch sources.
• Automate and orchestrate data workflows to boost efficiency.
• Document data engineering processes and architecture for knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging tech.
