Job summary

IBM Consulting FutureNow Center Internship offers hands-on data engineering and AI experiences. You will work with IBM professionals on real client challenges, developing analytical and problem-solving skills while contributing to data platforms and AI-enabled solutions.

As part of AI & Analytics practice, you will engage in projects across healthcare, finance, retail and manufacturing, learning modern data architectures and cloud platforms in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree with coursework in CS/DS/IS/Engineering/Math/Analytics.
• Basic programming concepts with exposure to Python, SQL, Java or similar.
• Familiarity with databases, data processing, analytics and how data supports decisions.
• Exposure to data preparation, transformation, visualization, analytics or problem solving through coursework or projects.
• Awareness of AI, ML, Generative AI and evolving tech and their business impact.

Responsibilities

• Assist data engineering and analytics tasks to transform data into insights.
• Help design, build, test and maintain data pipelines and data platforms.
• Contribute to data preparation, transformation, validation and quality activities.
