Job summary

The IBM Global Real Estate (GRE) Technology team seeks a Data and AI Intern to support data management, analysis, testing, and process automation. You will engage in AI implementation and use tools like watsonx, Cognos, and Envizi to derive insights and automate workflows.

You will work with a diverse team in an agile setting, learning to apply foundation models to business use cases while collaborating with internal clients across IBM’s GRE portfolio.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data migration and data warehousing.
• Experience with database server connectivity and usability testing.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, SQL, R, etc.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis that translates data into actionable insights.
• Experience in developing and maintaining data models, algorithms, and statistical models.
• Understanding of AGILE practices.
• Basic understanding of foundation models and generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Learn about various data structures and develop methods for combining and analyzing data.
• Implement business process automation to improve productivity.
• Learn and apply foundation models based generative AI to expand use cases.
• Utilize tools such as watsonx, Watson Orchestrate, Cognos, Tririga, Maximo, Envizi.
• Communicate with internal clients to understand business needs and provide analytical solutions.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with other technology team members.
