Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a proactive Data & AI Champion to support the CAIO/CDO for a U.S. government customer. The role focuses on task management, workforce upskilling, and promoting AI and data best practices.

The ideal candidate brings leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with government stakeholders to deliver high-quality, presentation-ready deliverables on schedule.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly is Required.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong task management and organizational skills, including attention to detail and delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with AI and Data concepts (deeper expertise can be developed on the job but must be familiar with various LLMs and their strengths and capabilities as well as a strong grasp of data analytics).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to team success.
• Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrate leadership qualities, and provide informal guidance within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with task management and deliverables for government stakeholders.
• Support design and implementation of workforce upskilling plans.
• Research training resources and strategies for AI/data capabilities.
• Develop strategies to promote adoption of AI tools and data practices.
• Collaborate with government customers and stakeholders to align with mission needs.
• Prepare briefs, updates, and documentation for leadership.
