Qualifications

• 10+ years building full‑stack data products end‑to‑end with a modern lakehouse stack.
• Direct experience embedding LLMs, retrieval‑augmented generation, and agents into data engineering workflows.
• Track record as a hands‑on technical leader or engineering manager for a high‑performing team.
• Experience operating production data platforms end‑to‑end with SLAs, data quality, observability, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team behind Capital Group's data and AI initiatives.
• Set technical direction and hunting for opportunities to apply AI responsibly.
• Hire, coach, and grow a diverse engineering team from the ground up.
