Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrollment in CS/engineering or related field with ongoing studies.
• Education/workforce development programs accepted (apprenticeship, boot camp, certification).
• Continue enrollment after internship.
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Foundational knowledge of ML/AI concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL, data processing frameworks, ML libraries, or cloud platforms.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience and cloud familiarity preferred.
• Cloud familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced data pipelines and ML infrastructure.
• Build analytics platforms across Cisco business groups (S&TO, Supply Chain, Engineering).
• Develop and maintain software tools supporting AI and data-driven insights.
• Create scalable data infrastructure for operational excellence and growth.
• Apply programming, data systems, and software engineering fundamentals to challenges.
• Collaborate with Cisco's global AI and data infrastructure teams.
• Support intelligent, scalable technology solutions.
