Job summary

Indigo Beam Consulting is building a data and AI practice from the ground up in Houston. The role blends hands-on data work—reporting, dashboards and data warehouse engagements for mid-market clients—with the technical side of semantic delivery, including building semantic models and governed data foundations.

You will work directly with client stakeholders and grow into leading engagements end to end on small teams, from architecture through implementation to handover.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience with 10+ years in data/analytics and 10+ years in consulting or client delivery
• Current Microsoft data platform certifications (DP-600 or PL-300); DP-700 a plus
• Strong SQL and dimensional modeling fundamentals with production data warehouse delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Design and build data warehouse and lakehouse solutions with dimensional modeling and ELT pipelines
• Deliver reporting and BI: Power BI datasets, DAX, tabular models, dashboards
• Work with client stakeholders to turn reporting needs into governed, documented models
• Own engagements end to end on small teams from architecture to handover
• Develop semantic layers: Fabric semantic models and ontologies grounded in business definitions
