Job summary

Dexian is seeking a hands-on Data / AI Architect to design and build a centralized enterprise data and AI platform, driving data architecture and engineering across the organization. You will work with MS Fabric or Databricks, build data pipelines and lakehouse capabilities, integrate ERP data, and enable AI agents and LLMs with hands-on delivery.

On-site three days a week in Elk Grove Village, IL. 5–10 years in data architecture/engineering; strong Python and SQL; cloud experience; and

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with MS Fabric or Databricks.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with data pipelines, data warehousing, and data integration.
• Understanding of cloud-based data architecture.
• Practical exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, or AI agents.
• Experience building an AI agent is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable balancing architecture design with hands-on development.

Responsibilities

• Design and review enterprise data architecture and technical solutions.
• Build and support data pipelines, data warehouses, and lakehouse platforms.
• Work with MS Fabric or Databricks.
• Integrate data from multiple ERP systems and business applications.
• Support data modeling, data transformation, and data quality initiatives.
• Apply Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Explore and implement AI, LLM, and AI agent capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and offshore technical teams.
• Participate in hands‑on development and implementation.
