Job summary

Prestige Staffing in Rosemont, IL seeks a Data & AI Architect to build and govern enterprise data and AI capabilities. You will design scalable data platforms, integrate ERP systems, and guide AI initiatives from discovery to deployment, partnering with cybersecurity, legal, and business units.

The role requires strong SQL, Power BI, Python, APIs, and cloud data architecture skills, plus the ability to communicate with senior leaders. Hybrid work arrangement offered in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture.
• Strong SQL, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline skills.
• Experience designing cloud-based data platforms and ERP integrations.
• Power BI expertise including semantic modeling and deployment.
• Knowledge of Python, APIs, and AI (LLMs, Generative AI).
• Excellent communication with technical teams and senior leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the enterprise data platform, integrating data from diverse sources.
• Establish scalable data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions.
• Support AI initiatives, including discovery, prototyping, architecture, deployment, and maintenance of AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop or guide generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across cybersecurity, legal, and business units to ensure responsible AI deployment.
• Conduct workshops, develop training materials, and foster a community of AI champions within the organization.
• Monitor AI solution performance, reliability, and compliance, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture
• Strong hands-on skills with SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines
• Proven experience designing modern cloud-based data platforms and integrating multiple ERP systems
• Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including semantic modeling and enterprise deployment
• Practical knowledge of Python, APIs, and AI solutions such as large language models and generative AI
