Job summary

PACCAR Technical Center is seeking a Data Systems Instrumentation Technician to install data acquisition equipment on PACCAR test vehicles and support testing objectives. You will work with engineers to install transducers, collect data, and ensure data quality for analysis.

You will calibrate sensors and accelerometers, maintain documentation, and help operate test trucks on the track, contributing to accurate engineering results and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• AA Degree in related Technology or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in data systems or instrumentation.
• Experience with field test data collection and data management.

Responsibilities

• Install transducers and data acquisition equipment on test vehicles.
• Configure and operate data acquisition test control software.
• Operate heavy-duty trucks on test track as needed.
• Prepare data for engineering analysis and maintain accuracy.
• Calibrate accelerometers, pressure sensors and analog devices.
• Maintain calibration database and related documentation.
• Develop and maintain written process documentation.
• Communicate progress and issues with managers and peers.
• Adapt to changing duties and priorities.
