Job summary

Data Acquisition Technician role in Phoenix, AZ. Develop and deploy data acquisition equipment for turbine engine testing and validation, working closely with engineers and technicians to ensure a high-quality test experience.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Technologies or 2+ years of industry experience, be a U.S. citizen, and understand data acquisition sensors (accelerometers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gages).

• Understanding of data acquisition products, sensors (accelerometers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gages).
• Knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Office, pressure/temperature systems, and data acquisition equipment.

As a Data Acquisition Technician, you will be part of the Data Acquisition Services - Digital team supporting engineers and technicians involved in turbine engine testing and validation. The ideal candidate will have excellent planning skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to take initiative which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Acquisition Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $18.50/hr

• Participate in testing and validation activities supporting product development and certification.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to provide a high-quality test experience.

What’s Needed?

• Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Technologies or 2+ years of industry experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Understanding of data acquisition products, industry-standard processes, and sensors such as accelerometers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and strain gages.
• Knowledge of LINUX, Microsoft Office, pressure and temperature systems, frequency counters, and voltage data acquisition systems.
• Cable fabrication skills including soldering and cable crimping, with experience working in a manufacturing test environment.
