Job summary

Communication Technology Services LLC seeks technicians for DAS installation projects in Houston, TX. Entry-level candidates will receive on-the-job training and there are opportunities for Technician II with DAS experience and Technician III with strong DAS experience. Regional travel within Texas is required.

Must pass a background check and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The role involves installing antennas, coax, fiber, and other equipment, documenting site walks, and contributing to bidding

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates will receive on-the-job training.
• Technician II requires some DAS experience.
• Technician III requires strong DAS installation, service, troubleshooting and testing experience.
• Must pass a background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and carry tools and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of Field Manager/Lead Tech.
• Install antennas and equipment as directed.
• Install coax and fiber; string cables.
• Transport materials.
• Attend Apprentice Classes (where applicable).
• Occasional site walk data collection for small venues, retail stores.
• Documentation of site walks for bidding process.
• Competent at pulling coax and fiber.
• Proficient at coax cable termination.
• Familiarity with fusion splicing and fiber optic testing practices.
