Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support our Southern CA Region. The role involves leading Field Manager staff, coordinating large deployments for enterprise cellular networks, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance, develop estimates, schedules and budgets, and manage project closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience advancing from FM III to CM II with endorsement by PM III or Market Manager.
• Oversees training, assignment and performance of Field Manager staff in a region.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve timecards.
• Review daily reports from field technicians.
• Perform field inspections to verify progress, quality, safety and scope.
• Schedule field managers and technicians.
• Train field managers and technicians.
• Manage assigned projects from start to finish.
• Develop project estimates, scope, schedules and budgets.
• Prepare closeout packages and submit to customer.
• Understand iBwave design files and complete small iBwave designs.
• Produce quotes and bill of materials from design docs.
• Ensure safety compliance and CTS QA/QC.
• Provide weekly financial status updates.
• Maintain CTS product/service knowledge and CRM updates.
• Produce fiber diagrams, rack elevations, RF plumbing diagrams, block diagrams, link budgets.

Qualifications

The Construction Manager is responsible for the training, project assignment and project performance of the Field Manager staff in a given region. This will include making field inspections to verify that the schedule, quality, scope, site safety and all reporting is accurate and in line with what is being published to the project team.

Requisite to becoming CM II is having served as an FMIII for a minimum of 2 years and/or demonstrating all of the skill and leadership abilities for the FM III Position. A person must be endorsed by a PM III or a Market Manager.

• Working knowledge of the financial progress of assigned projects by using spectrum and tracking reports.
• Project closeout package preparation and submittal to customer.
• Fully understand iBwave design files used to build a project.
• Ability to complete iBwave designs for small size projects.
• Proficient at producing a quote book / bill of materials for assigned projects based on design documents, walk notes and field input.
• Elementary knowledge to turn‑up, and commission, hardware for the assigned projects.
• Safety Compliance monitoring and documentation.
• QA/QC of all projects assigned to meet CTS standards.
• Weekly Reports/Updates on the financial statues of all projects.
• Complete understanding of CTS Products and Services.
• Sales / Customer Relations Management of projects assigned, including updates on project status.
• Proficiency in production of fiber diagrams, rack elevations, RF plumbing diagrams, block diagrams, and link budgets.

Commensurate based upon experience $90k-$130k/Annually
