Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a Financial Analyst to provide onsite support for DARPA in Arlington, VA. You will learn DARPA processes and culture, draft funding documents, and present financial status at quarterly reviews while developing budgets for new programs.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of financial analysis experience, and DoW clearance. Hybrid work in Arlington with up to 5% travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM; may substitute a non-technical degree with demonstrated technical acumen.
• 5+ years of experience in a financial analyst or equivalent role.
• Demonstrated experience in tracking technical and financial milestones and performing data analysis.
• Knowledge of DoW standards and regulations is required.
• Active DoW Secret clearance.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
• Detail oriented with a passion for accuracy and strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work fully onsite at DARPA's HQ in Arlington, VA based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Drafting complete and responsive funding documents.
• Presenting financial execution status at quarterly meetings.
• Developing budgets for new programs.
• Crafting obligation plans and planning for incremental funding in alignment with DoD funding appropriations.
